The Kathmandu-Raxaul Railway is being discussed by Nepal Government and it has been planned to prepare the detailed Project report. Raxaul is a border area town in East Champaran district of Bihar.
Nepal and India had agreed to expedite the construction of the railway project connecting Kathmandu to Raxaul at the Nepal-India border.
